It is highly recommended. Students must attend at least 80% of sessions in order to be eligible for the Final Show or Debate Showcase.

If the coach believes the student is not ready, we will recommend attending additional make-up sessions. If it exceeds the complimentary credit, additional group sessions are available at 1,500 THB per session, which will be the parents’ decision to arrange.
How many times can a student make up a class without incurring extra charges?
Each student is entitled to one complimentary hour-long group make-up session for every 8 classes, provided the course has at least 8 sessions. Beyond that, additional group sessions are 1,500 THB per student per session. It is up to the parents’ decision to arrange it.
Does being sick count as using a make-up class?
Yes, being sick is considered an absence. Students can use their complimentary make-up session or arrange additional make-up classes per the policies.
If my child misses a session but is not doing a make up session, will they be able to catch up with their peers?
We highly recommend that students use their complimentary make-up session to ensure continuity in their learning and stay aligned with their peers.
Beyond that, make-up sessions are optional. If parents have concerns, they are welcome to consult with the One Publique team to receive the coach's recommendation.
If the coach believes that additional make-up sessions would benefit the student, we will make that suggestion. However, it remains at the discretion of the parent to decide whether to proceed with further sessions.
I understand that additional make-up classes come with a fee, but since I have already paid for the full program, can the institute provide more complimentary make-up sessions?
The program fees cover coaching hours and staff coordination for the scheduled sessions. However, additional make-up sessions require extra resources and coordination, which is why they incur an additional fee. Our coaching team is highly experienced and in great demand due to their specialized expertise, which is rare in Thailand. As a result, their availability is quite limited.
The available weekend make-up slots are inconvenient. Can we schedule it for another time or week?
If the weekend group make up sessions are not suitable for you, a private one-on-one session can be arranged for 3,000 THB per hour.
If the make-up session is with a coach who doesn't teach their regular class, will that be an issue?
Not at all. Our coaches are highly qualified and follow the same rigorous curriculum, with clear details of what will be covered in each session. This ensures consistency in the students’ learning, regardless of the coach conducting the session.
Do make-up sessions need to take place before the student’s next regular session?
We recommend attending the make-up sessions before their next regular session to ensure they stay on track with the curriculum. However, if this is not possible, they can still attend a make-up session afterward to recap the missed content in more depth. Additionally, missed content will be briefly recapped in their regular session to help them stay aligned with the class.
If students prefer to ensure they learn the material before their next regular session and cannot attend the group make-up times, they may arrange a private make-up session at 3,000 THB per hour.
If my child misses two consecutive sessions, how many hours of make-up can they receive?

Can I book any classes on Thursday and Friday?
No, One Publique is closed on Thursdays and Fridays, and no classes or make-up sessions are available on these days.
If my child has to attend a group make-up session, will they be joined by other students, and who are they?
Yes, group make-up sessions will typically include other students who have also missed the same class. These students may come from different regular groups but are placed together based on similar topics or skills to be covered. This setup ensures productive and focused learning for all participants.
My child is in the Intermediate Debate, Upper Intermediate Debate, or Debate Clubs, but they don't want to join a debate club substitution class. Can they do a make-up session instead?
No, make-up sessions are not available for students in Intermediate Debate, Upper Intermediate Debate, or Debate Clubs. They can join a group make-up session on the weekend for 1,500 THB per session or arrange a private make-up session at 3,000 THB per session at their preferred time (depending on coaching availability).
